You may have downloaded a zip file to your Android device and are wondering how do I unzip my files well by default you are not able to do this which means you are out of luck. Or would have been if our friends over at AVG Labs hadn’t developed an app that would allow you to unzip any zip file on your Android Device it is called AndroZip.

The app is limited though in the fact that it can’t open all forms of archives for instance it is not able to open .tar files as of now (according to user experience issues). However, zip files are completely supported according to the developer and according to the comments. The program will even check the files to see if they are potentially malicious this is not a replacement for an actual antivirus by any means however it is something that is nice to have. This is basically the Winrar of Android apps.
